Project Synchronization
Process
During the course of project development,
it is common that you have altered your table or field definitions of your data source. To save the effort of doing the customization
from scratch again, JSPMaker provides you with the ability to synchronize your
project data with the data source. The syncrhonzation
process can be invoked in the following situations:
1. During the course of customization
Simply click [Tools], [Synchronize]
or click thebutton on the toolbar to perform the synchronization. JSPMaker will check automatically to see if
the current definition has been altered. If there has been a change, you will
be prompted whether or not to proceed with the syncrhonization.
2. During open of an JMP File
At open of any JMP File, JSPMaker
will automatically check the data source to see if the definition has been altered.
You will be prompted to keep or upgrade to the new definition if this is the
case.
TIP: If the database contains a large number of tables/fields, this auto-sychronization feature may make reloading a project file slow. In that case you can diable this feature by unchecking [Auto Synchronize] under the [Tool] menu.
