Oracle Support
In additional to MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server, PHP Report Maker now supports Oracle also.
Export to PDF
A new extension for export to PDF is provided. (Note that this extension is experimental only, read Third Party Tools for more information.)
More Stunning Flash Charts and JavaScript (HTML 5) Charts (FusionCharts Extension)
PHP Report Maker 5 ships with FusionCharts Free. Registered users of PHP Report Maker 5 are entitled to enjoy the benefit of the new FusionCharts extension with licensed FusionCharts v3 which is a paid product with a wider variety of chart types, a host of advanced features and the ability to render the charts in JavaScript as well. Improved Advanced Chart Properties Setup
The Advanced Chart Properties setup page is now just next to the general chart setup page, much easier to set up the various advanced properties of the chart.
Compact Summary Only View
Optional compact summary only view for Detail and Summary reports. The summary values are displayed as columns instead of rows.
Create, Alter and Drop Views
To encourage use of database views instead of Custom Views (which was designed for old versions of MySQL that did not support views), PHP Report Maker now support creating, altering and dropping database views in user interface.
Menu with Grouping (Graphical Extension)
In addition to vertical and horizontal menu, the graphical extension now uses YUI menu and support grouping. Note: Graphical extension is available for registered users only

Extended filters are now also supported by Gantt charts. Note: Gantt Chart extension is available for registered users only.
