To register, administrator permission is required. Right click the icon that you use to run the program, and then click Run as administrator. When you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the administrator password, or click Continue to run the program. Then register again.

No. The template for each major version of ASP.NET Maker will be modified to offer more advanced features. Old templates for previous major versions cannot be used with new major version of ASP.NET Maker.

Q. | What is the difference between ASPMaker and ASP.NET Maker? |

Feature-wise the two products are similar but they are for different technologies - ASP and ASP.NET. ASP is much easier to learn and code while ASP.NET is more complicated to code but much more powerful. You can google for "ASP vs. ASP.NET" and will get a comprehensive list of comparison of the two technologies.

Q. | HTTP 500 - Internal server error |

The HTTP 500 error is a generic error message that Internet Explorer passes out to you when your web site errors for one reason or another. To enable Internet Explorer to show the error, select Internet Options from the Tools menu at the top of Internet Explorer, select the Advanced tab, uncheck "Show friendly HTTP error messages" checkbox. Then run your script again to see a more useful error message.

If you try to write to an Access database, the ASP.NET application must have Write permission to the folder that contains the .mdb file. See Configuring Permissions.
